The Staples Police Department is a 7 day, 24 hour agency. Please call 1-800-794-5733 any time of the day to report an incident or to request an officer.

We utilize four squad cars. These squads are outfitted with up to date equipment including radars and squad cameras. We carry lifesaving equipment including oxygen, first aid kits and defibrillators. We respond to most medical emergencies in city limits, rendering aid and assisting the ambulance crew.

If you see suspicious activity occurring, please report it to the police department immediately. Our officers actively patrol city limits around the clock and will respond quickly to your report.

Staples Police provide security checks for residents who are out of town. If you would like to be placed on a property watch list please call with your address, dates, and contact information for a key holder we can contact while you are away.

We are also available to speak to groups about several subjects including personal safety, identity theft, property security, crime trends and child safety. Other subjects may be available upon request.
