Staples Fire Department
The Staples Fire Department was established in 1906 - over 110 years of dedicated service to the Staples community. The department consists of 25 volunteer fire fighters who are committed to continuous training and educating the public on fire safety.
The area of service includes the City of Staples along with the townships of Staples, Thomastown, Fawn Lake, Bartlett, Bullard, Becker and Villard. The fire department responds to approximately 70 calls a year: structure fires, grass fires, false alarms, vehicle accidents and missing persons.
Each year, the Staples Fire Department holds an open house at the Fire Station on the Friday of fire prevention week. The exact date will be listed on the Events Calendar and in the Staples World.
