Lakewood Community ParkThis fun park offers playground equipment, a picnic shelter, modern handicap accessible restrooms, and lots of room to run. The park is located on the corner of 4th Street NE and Prairie Ave NE. Please contact Lakewood Health System at (218) 894-1515 for more information.
Living Legacy GardensLocated along County Road 2 (Central Lakes College Ag Center), the Living Legacy Garden is a regional destination "must see." It features USDA zone 3 plants. Sacred Heart Elementary PlaygroundSacred Heart Elementary School is located at 324 Fourth Street NE in Staples. Their playground is directly across from Staples Community Center and offers both playground equipment and a basketball court. The playground area is available to the public during non-school hours. Staples-Motley Elementary PlaygroundLocated at 1025 4th Street NE, the Staples-Motley Elementary School has a large, accessible playground area. The playground equipment is new as of 2015!
